We always hate to see people leave us on this earth... We've all lost someone but most of the people comin' to this blog have never really felt the loss of a child... and it's never supposed to be this way that you see your child go before you do... I can't imagine what Andre Young and his whole family are going through right now... All we can hope is that Curt goes up to them gates of heaven.

The Los Angeles County Coroner reported today that the son of hip hop record producer and rapper Dr. Dre has died. Andre Young Jr. was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning.

Young was out the previous night and returned home around 5:30 A.M., according to Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His mother went to check on him in his bedroom around 10 A.M., found him unresponsive, and called 911. He was 20 years of age.

The cause of death is pending completion of a toxicology report.

Andre Young Sr., better known as Dr. Dre, shot to fame with the influential gangsta rap group N.W.A. He later became an artist and co-owner of Death Row Records. In 1993, he won a Grammy Award for the single "Let Me Ride." As a producer, Dre was credited with popularizing West Coast G-funk.

Dr. Dre is currently the founder and CEO of Aftermath Entertainment.

Pilati was raised in Milan, where he grew up in a "family of stylish women".Inspired by his two sisters' fashion magazines, he created his first sketches for his sisters.

While Pilati was studying environmental design in Milan in the 1980s, he completed an internsip at Cerruti. He was later employed by an Italian velvet company before working for Armani between 1993 and 1995 as a menswear assistant. He joined the Prada Group in 1995, where he designed for Miu Miu's men's and women's collections. Pilati has also worked for Miu Miu. Pilati first joined YSL in March 2000 as women's design director, the second-in-command to then-creative director Tom Ford. In 2004, he was promoted to creative director with the apparent blessing of Yves Saint Laurent himself and former YSL head Pierre Berge, both of whom criticized Ford's designs. (Alexander McQueen had previously been considered for the position, but he turned down the job to concentrate on his signature collection. Pilati's first designs were displayed in YSL's cruise and men's collections in June 2004, and his official international debut was the October 2004 Spring 2005 women's collection.

The Saturday Knights "Mingle" (Free Album!)

Anyways, 2db reader Noah hit me up with some cool information and music regarding a Washington based group called The Saturday Knights. Consisting of two emcees (Tilson and Barfly) and a producer (DJ Suspence) the trio released their album, Mingle (which has some crazy features from the likes of The Dap Kings, Jack Endino [Nirvana], Kim Thayil [Soundgarden] and more), for free. I know a lot of people are giving away free music but it’s still dope everytime I see that. It shows artists are still in it for the love of music and not just a check (which aren’t even that great).
